How can i apply as a linux system engineer in US?

Hi, i am a Linux System engineer for seamless distributions ab! I stay in India and i have a RHCE, CCNA, Comptia A+, Server + and storage + certificates. Also i m an oracle certified mysql database admin. I have a 5 + years of experience in system support under linux and mysql platform and have been working with the ss7 protocol (telecoms).

I have seen that Companies in US pay pretty decent to their system engineers. So please tell me how can i apply and get a job there. (I am a Master of Computer Application and that is my highest academic degree. But my indian certification wont get valid in States. SO what should i do in order to get a job in US as a system engineer).

Help me please my fellow engineers

Well as Marissa Mayer start looking for people with certification you could start at Yahoo. If it doesn’t work just give a try with freelance websites or look at new tech companies in which you could get involved and be helpful to their projects. Good luck Masshala!

Heres a system to get on the Internet ASAP, you could dualboot Peppermint OS 3 with Windows and have one system for gaming and another for when you just want to do a quick few things on the Internet.

Peppermint is a Hybrid Web OS based on Lubuntu 12.04, it comes bundled with several Web apps for accessing Google Services, such as: Gmail, Calendar, Reader, and Drive.

This Linux Distro is a lot better than using the motherboard bundled OS’s from ASUS or MSI.
Its quick, lightweight, and also good for older systems.
